It seems to me... that the key elements of Magic are mostly linked to Intention... (yeah grounding and centering come first... ("Know/love thy self") NOT Dogma. NOT Prescribed Ritual. NOT by Edict NOT by Ownership NOT by Control (of others). It seemed so Obvious when I found the Radical Faeries .. that the RADICAL Idea was: Subject/SUBJECT Consciousness... and the powerful spaces that are Created by Men who are in that frame of mind...when they gather together and both Share AND Listen to each other share what is Most essential to their HEARTS... Now after experiencing those powerful Spaces of Peer Fellowship and Mutual Healing... I have come to Marvel how something Sooooo Powerful has been Lost in many of those Spaces... How does something that GREAT become almost the opposite? I Do Not know Really... bad mentoring I guess. But I Digress.. I can not help but think now, as I look back... that the Men I found in those spaces... were DIVINE. I think that whether they realized it or not at the time... (or even if I didn't) that we were all connecting on some Very Deep Level... Soul to Soul... as Peers and EQUALS. Meeting in that place where ONENESS (that has Fractured into the MANY) may experience it SELF. where Singularity can experience the comfort and Joy of the multiplicity. I think there are many out there, who have a Since of Self, that on some level sees itself as Divine.... but when it stops there and that same being, sees it self as the ONLY Divine... then what you have is Sociopathic. It is Not until we recognize the divine in another (as well as Self)... that you reach the level that can be truly be thought of as Men's "Sex Magic"... I have also learned that a part of this is Consent... until you can gaze into the others eyes ... and Know that your Touch, Costs them Nothing... and that their touch, costs you Nothing... and that together you are both MORE than you were apart... it is is NOT Magic... Telling another, that you trust them to touch you with Love and Respect... that you trust yourself to touch them with Love and Respect... that is the First Step toward true Sex Magic... IMHO W/O
