Boycotting business owned by the Mormon church would be quite effective right now. Due to the poor economic climate, businesses really need every penny they can make. Boycotting businesses right now will definitely send a very strong message to those that took our rights away.

I found it. Check out this website www.boycottmormonbusiness.com It has a fairly extensive list of Mormon Church owned businesses. Some of those business I have ordered from before. I will definitely support the boycott, What may even help is that I will write/ e-mail those companies that I have ordered from before and tell them to have my name removed from their customer list because I am boycotting their company for their support of prop 8.

There is a problem with this idea. The LDS church has no Tax exemption. They are the only Christian type church in the country that pays taxes. They never applied for tax exemption.

When a church starts inserting itself into the political landscape and starts funding political propositions, they are clearly in violation of that. Their tax exempt status should be revoked.
